This summer, experience Ladakh like never before, with guided tours offered by Experiential Himalaya.

After the successful completion of India’s First-Ever Family E-Bicycling Trip in June, we are proud to announce the second edition of Chalo Ladakh, Hero Banne.

Experience the beauty of Ladakh up close with a cycle tour. We’ve organized e-bicycles just for this. Why e-bicycles, you might ask. Well, cycling in Ladakh has always been considered an adventure sport, meant only for experienced enthusiasts. At Experiential Himalaya, we want to break that stereotype by making the entire experience much easier with e-bicycles, in a first-of-its-kind event in India.

E-bicycles require almost 50% less strength while allowing you to get a panoramic view of the exquisite landscapes. So, are you ready for a trendsetting adventure trip with your family?

Experiential Himalaya promotes sustainable and near carbon-neutral tourism. Our packages and tours are designed to have minimal impact on the ecosystem and help the local economy.

Travel Tips

Ladakh is very safe, tourist friendly and cheering place. Still we recommend that you make few preparations which can make your tour even better and more memorable:

  • In Leh-Ladakh, only post paid cellular networks are working, preferably BSNL, Airtel, Vodafone. As mobile connections may not work at many places, you need to inform your family members before departing for the tour that they shuold not worry if they fail to contact you.
  • Do pack heavy woollens (Jackets, Caps, Socks etc) with you as temperature may dip below 0 degreeC any time even during winter months.
  • Carry good Sun Screen lotion, sun glasses (goggles), cap with you to avoid sunburn as during day sun rays are direct and can burn your skin.
  • Don’t forget to carry photo id with you. Aadhaar or Passport is the best option. Driving License and Voter Cards are also valid.
  • During your travel, keep your body hydrated by drinking water and eating healthy food and fruits to avoid vomiting due to high altitude sickness and dizziness due to curly roads
  • Please carry headache, stomachache, anti vomiting medicine or in case you have any ailment, you should carry enough stock of medicine with yourself.
  • You may take high altitude tablets (diamox or acetazolamide tablets) a day before your tour (preferably before falling asleep) and may also take before boarding plane to Leh. You need to rest and drink enough water for some hours after reaching Leh to acclimatise.
  • Leh has only few ATM machines where you can withdraw cash. At time these run out of cash and thus carrying enough cash is advisable.
  • You are expected to respect the Buddhist and Muslim culture of Leh Ladakh. Ladakh being an offbeat destination, we strive hard to provide best services despite many difficulties and challenges. Still, if you need to do compromise at any point (though we never hope for such moment), please do cooperate with us.

Reviews from Chalo Ladakh Hero Banne - Previous Editions

Thank you for giving us a push to life through pedalling…it’s been an enriching experience and a journey of a lifetime.

Kunal Sinha

Thank you for creating this amazing experience for us. I had a wonderful time and am full of appreciation for the way you took care of each one of us ❤️🙏🏻It will take a few days to calm down and assimilate our experiences, thoughts and memories which will then become a lifetime memory! I feel truly lucky to have been a part of this trip.

I do think e-cycling has tremendous potential in various parts of our country.

Radhika Khanna

I don’t even have the right words to express the emotions I felt in the last 15 days. The work you do is surreal, lead by example. The enormous amount of wisdom you possess and the humility with which you take care of the smallest of things to the biggest ones is phenomenal. Going on this trip has been a life-transforming experience. I feel extremely rich at the soul level.

Anuj

Experiential Himalaya is a team of true professionals who take care of every bit of the trip and the participants. I knew only Som (our tour leader) before this trip personally but now every participant seems like a friend. Despite our diverse backgrounds, the participants were like-minded in their eagerness to experience life and Ladakh.

Wish Experiential Himalaya a grand success in their future endeavors!!
